Areas of interest

General Neurology and Neurophysiology

I completed my medical school and residency training at UT Houston School of Medicine and am board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.  I completed one year of fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine in Neuromuscular Diseases, with specialized training in treatment of nerve and muscle diseases, muscle and nerve biopsy and EMG/NCS.

I treat all neurological conditions for patients over the age of 15,.

Integrative Medicine

I believe in a holistic approach to the practice of medicine.  With every patient I try to incorporate aspects of wellness such as nutrition, nutraceuticals, exercise, weight loss, and sleep optimization.  Spiritual wellness and faith have been key in my life.

Sports Neurology

As an athlete, I have a special interest in the treatment of sports related neurological injuries such as concussion, neck/back strain and nerve injuries.  I want to get athletes back in the game as soon as possible, but in a safe and healthy manner.

International Missions Work

As part of my Christian faith,  I have a love for serving people of the world with limited access to medical care.  I have traveled to Tanzania, Thailand, Honduras, Peru, and Paraguay as part of my medical missions work.  I serve as Healthcare Director for Twelve21Global.
